Metropolitan Opera officials, headed by General Manager Rudolf Bing, and many of the company's star singers were among the mourners who attended the funeral services at St. Vincent Ferrer's Roman Catholic church.

The Mass was said by the Rev. Joseph Gardner of Providence, R.I., a close friend of Warren. More than 3000 persons filed past Warren's bier at the Abbey Funeral Home during the week-end.

Yesterday afternoon the waiting line stretched a half block outside the home in below freezing temperatures. Warren's body was dressed in the white, gold-embroidered robe of a knight commander of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
