It should not be hard to find the best Christmas gifts for women, as all women contain multitudes. They are complex creatures with various interests, hobbies, wants, and desires. As a veteran member of the female tribe, I can name 20 great gifts for women off the top of my head. In fact, I did just that, and wrote them all down for you!
If you are truly flummoxed by the woman in your life — you know, the one who’s “impossible to shop for” — there’s a gift-giving strategy that will nearly always yield a surefire hit. Look to things they already love, and then buy them a better version of it. While there are plenty of women who have no problems treating themselves to something nice, many (especially moms) tend to take care of everyone’s else’s needs first. They’re used to making do with what they already have, so why not make those “mundane” things extra special?
This doesn’t necessarily mean you need to break the bank! There are big-ticket Christmas gifts for women on this list that are more than worth the splurge, but there’s also affordable gifts under twenty dollars that will thrill her to no end. There are gifts for women who love pampering themselves, and also women who love getting their hands dirty, whether that means whipping up a new recipe in the kitchen, or spending their downtime on DIY projects. And of course, we’ve included some classic gifts for women that will please just about every lady on your list. I chose these based on a variety of trends and products we’ve tested before and loved.
It’s rare that anyone has to buy comfy pajama shirts, which have a way of weasling their way into your life, whether you’ve asked for them or not. Comfy pajama pants, however, must be specially sought out, and there’s no such thing as having too many pairs. These silk PJ pants from Quince may be the comfiest of them all thanks to their almost-unnoticeable seams, soft fabric, and just the right amount of stretch. They could very well be the ultimate gift — for anyone, really. Everyone sleeps, right?
Making a pie from scratch takes a lot of work, so shouldn’t it look like its prettiest possible self when it comes out of the oven? This ceramic baking set from Great Jones includes one of the best looking pie dishes I’ve ever seen (and I owned a bakery!), as well as a large rectangular baking dish that’s perfect for aesthetically pleasing casseroles and lasagnas.
Sure, getting around town on an e-bike is better for the environment than taking the car, but you want to know what my favorite part of owning this e-bike is? I get to hit the farmer’s market, pick up prescriptions, and run all my other small errands alone. (Going on bike rides with my kids is nice, too, but being able to grocery shop in peace is magical.)
The Velotric Discover 2 works the old-fashioned way sans assistance from the electric motor (making this a great gift for women who exercise). Or they can kick on the battery, which has a 75-mile range when fully charged, and let the bike do all the hard work at speeds up to 28 mph.

This machine does just about everything it can to get my insomniac-behind to bed at a reasonable hour — it has a soft light for reading, plays soothing noises, and will even read me a bedtime story since I connected it to Spotify.
It also tries hard to wake me up on time with a soft sunrise alarm and naturally peppy wake-up sounds. And when I’m smart enough not to stay up doomscrolling til 4 am, it does a spectacular job at both! (I’m a work in progress.) It’s an excellent gift for women who need a little help winding down at night.

For the Breakfast Chef
Larder & Vine Ceramic Griddle
Griddles are an absolute necessity for making pancakes, because skillets don’t have enough room to cook more than two or three small ones at a time, and that’s only enough for, what, half a person? This gorgeous ceramic griddle has the space to make pancakes for two — or possibly even three! — people. Or they can make pancakes for now, and bonus pancakes for later. It's super durable, heats evenly, and, because of the coating, cleans easily.
Dyson’s newest high-tech hair gizmo quickly figured out how to get my naturally-wavy hair under control, which is something I had personally failed to do in 44 years on earth. I’m not ashamed to admit when my intelligence is inferior to that of a hair dryer.
And our Beauty Editor, Nicole Saunders, notes in her review that the way this dryer achieves this feat is by combining super-powerful air distribution and adjustable temperatures. I still contend that it's magic.

I held out on adopting the belt bag because I lived through the first wave of fanny packs way back in the ’80s, and I’ve watched the whole of society regretting all of it for over 30 years. I’ve since given in and changed my tune, and I’m honestly pretty miffed at myself for not getting one sooner.
As Reviews Editor Amber Joglar noted in her evaluation: “This fanny pack also has three mesh interior pockets along the sides to keep items accessible yet organized. I didn’t feel like I had to dig around for my Chapstick or car keys. There is an exterior zippered pocket along the back that will fit a smaller cellular device (my iPhone 12 mini slid right in), and the thick and durable strap made me feel like the bag was super secure.”
It’s hard to enjoy a leisurely jog if you’re living in constant terror of getting buzzed by a car or cyclist unexpectedly. These open-ear headphones let them enjoy their music while running or strolling around town without drowning out the sounds of their surroundings.
When we tested the OpenRun, we appreciated how they stayed put, their long battery life, and their water-resistance.

There’s no reason why a woman’s toolbox shouldn’t look as good as she does. This glossy retro-style number comes in blue or black, and can be customized with your choice of five different designs, including a pencil and scissors for crafters, or a set of socket wrenches for grease monkeys. Finish making it personal by adding their name and a short motto — choose from one of the prewritten options like “Best Maker Ever,” or come up with something special of your own, like “Mom’s Box” or “Queen of Farts.”
Instead of splurging on a single spa facial, why not let her wind down with one every single night? This collection from SkinPharm will get (and keep!) her skin glowing with a papaya enzyme cleanser, a clay exfoliator, a nourishing nighttime serum and brightening moisturizer.
I’m not allowed to keep Nutella in the house because I will eat an entire jar by myself when I’m “on Ambien,” but I no longer need to be sad about this now that I’ve tasted Good Good’s Hazelnut Spread.
It tastes better because it’s made with better ingredients, including all-natural sweeteners that make this a “low calorie” food, provided they stick to the proper serving sizes. (Which they won’t, nor should they be expected to.) Slip these jars into their Christmas stocking, or put them in a gift bag with a spoon so they can dig in right away.

One of the most hilarious things about cannabis becoming widely legal and socially acceptable is that gravity bongs now look like this. Look at this thing! It’s gorgeous! And it’s done absolute wonders for my insomnia while adding a touch of glamour to my boudoir.
If you’re struggling to find a gift for a woman who was born between 1975-1990, the answer is a Caboodle. You don’t need to wonder if she needs it, or what she could possibly use it for. She’ll figure out something. All that matters is Caboodle. It’s an organizational masterpiece. OK, it’s basically a girly tackle box, but who could judge us for that?
I’ve raised two human children to near-adulthood, but have killed every plant that’s ever had the misfortune of entering my home. Then I got this desktop planter from Gardenuity, which includes specialized soil and a bottle of plant nutrients, and have managed to keep three small ferns on my windowsill that have yet to whither or fling themselves out the window to escape certain doom.
