Base pay range
$60,906.00/yr - $100,669.00/yr
Class DescriptionThis position will coordinate Continuing Education information technology (IT) career courses and programs with a focus on IT certifications, cybersecurity, networking, programming, and web development.
Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business, communications, education, human resources, management, training and development, information technology, or related field required, master’s degree preferred. Licensure/certifications related to education or program development/management preferred.
Two (2) years of full-time experience in the planning and implementation of programs, services and/or products, and one (1) year of full-time supervisory and/or project management experience required. Planning and implementation of training programs is preferred.
Any of the following are highly preferred: 1) Prior work experience, in an IT-related role or, through IT-related responsibilities, 2) An IT-related degree, 3) Nationally recognized IT certification such as CompTIA®. 4) Experience in higher education at a community college.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.

- Coordinate a functional process within assigned College department or division.
- Design, develop and implement department programs or initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain department records and files, as required.
- Facilitate and attend meetings, as required.
- Recruit, select, supervise, advise, and evaluate assigned staff, as required.
- Prepare, analyze and provide reports on miscellaneous subjects, as requested.
- Manage program expenses efficiently and economically.
- Identify, access, and analyze program data in the college’s enterprise system.
- Develop new courses (including meeting accreditation and/or certification standards) and course series.
- Provide superior customer service and problem-solving to both students and contract training clients.

Position Specific Essential Duties
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate the college’s IT Career Programs.
- Accurately forecast, and track, annual unit revenue and FTE generation.
- Develop and achieve personal and business goals, and budgets that contribute to the unit and divisional goals and business plans.
- Identify, target and close contracts with existing and potential training customers.
- Recruit, select, train, and supervise adjunct faculty and instructors.
- Represent and promote the college at affinity groups, professional and business associations and community and networking events.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with all relevant stakeholders.
- Counsel and advise students.
- Manage supply of instructional material, student materials and equipment.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment: The HartfordIndividual or Family Coverage. Employee pays a rate in multiples of $10,000 to a maximum of $300,000.
Long-Term DisabilityPlan pays 60% of gross monthly salary after 90 consecutive days of absence. Employee pays 100% of premium.

Supplemental (Retirement Annuities) 403(b) and 457(b)
- Tax-sheltered annuities – 403(b). Payroll salary reduction authorization is needed. The form is available on SharePoint Forms/Human Resources Forms. The 403(b) supplemental retirement plan is available to all CCBC employees (Adjunct Faculty, Part Time Associates and Full Time employees).
- Roth 403(b) is a savings feature that is available when you open a 403(b) account. The Roth 403(b) savings feature allows employees to contribute after-tax dollars and then withdraw tax-free dollars from their account upon retirement. The Roth 403(b) savings feature is only offered by the following vendors: TIAA-CREF and VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. Adjunct Faculty, Part Time Associates and Full Time employees are eligible to save for retirement using the Roth 403(b) savings feature. Employees may contribute traditional pre-tax 403(b) dollars and Roth 403(b) post-tax dollars simultaneously. The savings limits are combined for the Traditional 403(b) and the Roth 403(b) contributions.
