NORTH CHARLESTON — The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office has identified the two teenagers killed in an accident that occurred late on Aug. 8.
The three-way collision killed 17-year-olds Joseph DaSilva of Goose Creek and Samuel Oliveira of Summerville, according to a release from Coroner Paul Brouthers.
The release said the two were in a vehicle turning left onto Patriot Boulevard from Club Course Drive when struck from the left by a vehicle on Patriot Boulevard. Both teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police spokesperson Harve Jacobs said in a release that officers responded to the scene of the crash around 11:15 p.m. In addition to the teenagers found dead at the scene, an additional victim was critically injured and taken to an area hospital.
The coroner’s release added that both DaSilva and Oliveira will undergo an autopsy on Aug. 12 at the Medical University of South Carolina.
The police department’s traffic unit and the coroner’s office are further investigating the accident.
